Some kids –and some adults too –are not really into having breakfast, at all. And, even though we are not here to claim breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we do believe it is very important for kids to have a proper and complete healthy breakfast to get through the day.

So, if your kid is not really into breakfast, or mornings in general (we’ve covered this topic already), we want to share with you some tasty and healthy breakfast ideas for the whole family!

Our favourite healthy breakfast ideas

A delicious and simple toast

A timeless essential. Whole wheat bread, a nice toaster, some butter and some jam. Perfect for those who prefer to start off the day with a sweet bite!

Or an avocado toast

The avocado hype is real, it’s here to stay, so we should just embrace this fact and let go. At least it’s a healthy trend!

Our avocado-hack: add some coriander and some drops of lemon to give it a guacamolish taste! We also love to have our avocado toast with an egg –or even just with an egg white –to add some protein to the mix!

Eggs and Soldiers

This breakfast is fun to eat, healthy and super easy to make. Win-win-win! Just boil some eggs making sure you keep the yolk runny, toast some breadsticks… and enjoy!

Our hack: spread some marmite on the bread (if you like it) to give it some extra flavour!

Porridge

The best thing about Autumn and Winter is that warm food is bearable (and highly desireable) again. Porridge is definitely one of our favourite breakfasts.

Our hack: Adding some jam or honey and some fruit to give it a sweet and even healthier touch!

Smoothie bowl

If there’s something better than a smoothie, it is definitely a smoothie you can eat with a spoon. So here you go some super nice smoothie bowl recipes your kid (and everyone in the family) will love!
